Your Mission should you choose to accept it…

TSH is serious about sustainability and impact. Our goal is to minimise the negative impact we have on the environment and to maximise the positive impact we have on our community. With our new long-term sustainability strategy that focuses on key themes such as energy management, GHG emissions, business travel, diversity & inclusion, as well as benchmarking and reporting through B Corp, CSRD, BREEAM and the Science Based Targets initiative, we’re taking our ambitions to the next level.

As such, we're looking for a Sustainability Manager to grow the team. Together with the Director of Sustainability & Impact, you'll work on bringing sustainability to life through strategy development, data analysis and project development. No two days are the same; one day you might collect and analyse data on the hotels’ energy management and align with our Operations Hub on how to reduce our energy intensity; the other you might research best practices for GHG emissions reduction or help prepare a session to share sustainability-related knowledge with our leadership team.

And because we're working on a big 2030 picture too, you can expect company-wide projects that will require some serious planning and collaboration to ensure we all have that same dot on the horizon.

If you are interested in learning more about sustainability in a fast-growing company, good at planning and analysis, can keep the big picture in mind but are also focused on the details, and know how to get people excited, then this is the job for you!

In case you don’t know who we are:

Redefining hybrid hospitality since 2012, TSH sets standards on a global scale. Offering a community driven, socially inspired hotel concept with student accommodation, as well as long and short hotel-stay options, eat & drink, gym and rooftop bar facilities and coworking for every demographic, the brand’s success is unprecedented. With 16 hotels in 6 countries and plans to open at least 3 more locations each year until 2026, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play. Thanks to an exceptional international team of changemakers, our one goal is to make society a better place for everyone.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and prepare implementations of sustainability related projects with the Operations Hub related (but not limited to) utilities management, food waste, supply chain management;
  • Analyse ESG data and provide opportunities for improvement to the relevant departments;
  • Manage the ESG data platform for the hotels;
  • Collect and prepare data for ESG reporting requirements;
  • Research trends & developments that we can use to strengthen our sustainability strategy.
  • You’ll be first point of contact for our hotels throughout Europe for all things related to Sustainability and Impact.

Who You Are:

  • You have at least a master’s degree in Sustainable Business, Environmental Studies, Future Planet Studies or something similar;
  • Ideally, you have at least three years of relevant experience working in a sustainability role or on sustainability projects.
  • You have experience in working with ESG data, running analyses and providing advice on how to use the data accordingly.
  • You are fluent in English (both in writing and speaking) and you are good at communicating and engaging teams;
  • You are pro-active, have a problem-solving mindset, are not afraid to be thrown into the deep end from time to time;
  • You work independently, have an entrepreneurial mindset and know how to get things over the finish line;
  • You are eager to develop your knowledge on different sustainability topics;
  • You know your way around PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with creative tools such as Canva or Adobe are a plus.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company based in of one of Europe’s most exciting cities!
  • Not just another hotel, we’re a game changing innovator, challenging every convention and defining the future;
  • The chance to learn and grow in your role, with the potential for growth within or across the company;
  • Access to the amazing TSH facilities, including our awesome staff experiences, canteen and gym (Covid permitting)
  • Staff rate hotel stays across 15 exciting European locations
  • A wonderful workplace to call home, events, fun colleagues, and all regular salary/benefits stuff

The Social Hub is much more than a hotel. In our boundary-blurring spaces we bring together a new generation of bold change-makers to connect, learn, stay, work, and play. Creating memorable experiences for our community of hotel guests, students, creatives, enterprising minds and anyone in between.
