You and your job On a day-to-day basis, you will work as an integral part of the Data Analytics team and in conjunction with the entire Compliance department. The role primarily focuses on exploring opportunities to use data-based insights and predictive analysis in the decision-making processes within Compliance. You employ analytical models, statistical methods, and machine learning to generate valuable insight and foresight, as well as present results from analysis in a clear and actionable way to stakeholders and management. Clear communication is key in this job, as you can imagine. Your top 3 responsibilities You identify and advise on opportunities for improvement of decision-making processes, by making use of data science tools, AI, and decision science; You develop solutions that can convert data into insights that contribute to decision-making and effective business operations and add value to the business by delivering actionable insights and foresights; You support the compliance colleagues by transforming and analysing data and you share your expertise within the compliance department. The team itself As a Data Scientist, you are part of the Risk & Data team, which is one of the 4 teams of the Core Compliance department within the Compliance department of Rabobank Group; one of the most dynamic departments of the bank. Compliance has a key role in the promotion and safeguarding of the integrity as well as the reputation of Rabobank Group. Compliance promotes and monitors that the integrity and compliance rules are closely adhered to through its teams dedicated to business line compliance for the various markets (e.g., Retail Netherlands, Rural & Retail, Wholesale, Member Banks), as well as the expertise center on themes such as market abuse, conflicts of interests and financial economic crime. You and your talent Masters or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, etc.); Knowledge of data science, managerial science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in a previous function; Proven experience in contributing to machine learning engineering teams; Affinity with Compliance themes such as Financial and Economic Crime, Fraud and Privacy; Experience with Agile philosophies. This is what we offer you Up to € 7.374,- gross per month, , based on a salary scale 10. Salary will be set by comparing experience levels with our internal workforce; Personal budget of € 1.400,00 to spend on activities related to your personal development and career; Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance; An Employee Benefit Budget (EBB) of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion.
