Business Controller

Mammoet is currently seeking a driven Business Controller to enhance our Corporate Business Control team at our headquarters in Utrecht. In this role, you will directly report to the CFO and collaborate closely with different departments supporting our business with in-depth analysis and valuable insights. Your responsibilities will entail interfacing with seasoned management, facilitating an enriching learning trajectory and offering a platform for continued advancement within our global organization.

We are in search of individuals who possess not only a robust business acumen but also a broader finance perspective. As you will engage with various management levels across Mammoet's diverse disciplines, the ability to articulate your findings confidently and professionally is essential.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Contribute to the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the company and assist in reporting.
• Analyze and interpret financial and business data to derive meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with various departments within the organization to verify data and enhance comprehension.
• Provide support and counsel to members of the Management Board by suggesting potential scenarios and delivering proactive conclusions drawn from analysis.
• Manage internal management reporting procedures and enhance reporting mechanisms tailored to project-based operations, offering visibility into project profitability and regional performance.
• Participate in regional business enhancement initiatives, encompassing both financial and non-financial aspects.
• Respond promptly to ad-hoc information requests from senior management.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, within an international project business environment.
• Thorough experience in building and analyzing management reports and developing KPIs.
• Motivated, proactive, and high-performing.
• Strong analytical capabilities and reporting skills.
• Self-reliant with strong persuasive skills and a strong team orientation.
• Ability to easily liaise with colleagues in other departments within the company.
• Fluency in English both verbally and in writing.
• Strong affinity with IT systems, preferably Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and SAP.
