Are you a hands-on finance professional who is result-oriented and are you passionate about finance reporting? Do you have knowledge of change management, accounting and reporting processes and do you have a good understanding of internal controls? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Recovery and Resolution Program team in the Value Proposition Team of the Finance & Risk Reporting Grid .

The program includes laws and regulations in the field of Recovery and Resolution that financial institutions must comply with to ensure an orderly resolution of failing banks with minimum impact on the real economy and the financial system. Our team is responsible for drawing up and explaining the requirements, offer a robust IT solution for sourcing, consuming and reporting data, making sure that these solutions are timely implemented according to applicable laws and regulations.

Your job

For Recovery and Resolution related topics, you will be responsible for supporting the integration of the reporting change initiatives by collaborating with IT, Change and Business colleagues to improve reporting solutions, data architecture, data processes, and data quality. As a Business Developer, you are concerned with the consultancy questions around data, data models, the reports and IT processes. You innovate, advise, improve, train, trouble-shoot, and implement. Together with your team, you are the experts on data (quality) requirements for Finance & Risk Reporting. You reach your objectives by bringing your specialty and pursuing active cooperation with professionals from business and IT. Your autonomous way of working in an Agile environment is key to your success.Examples of the deliverables of a Medior Business Developer include:

  • business analysis on delivery of project milestones;
  • part of multidisciplinary team that works towards control framework over the data chain (compliance with BCBS 239);
  • clear problem statements and solution proposals in relation to regulatory change;
  • support with coordination and project management tasks.
You will work in the Value Proposition Team (VPT) of Finance & Risk Reporting. As part of the Finance & Risk Reporting VPT you will primarily focus on Recovery and Resolution related topics. The team you will work in consists of a nice mix of motivated young and senior professionals. They are all self-starters with good sense of humour, seeking collaboration and always willing to go beyond what’s expected.

Your profile

You are a passionate, hard-working professional with a sharp eye for details. You are flexible, versatile and able to take on multiple topics at the same time when this is required. You feel at ease supporting the business and facilitating discussions with stakeholders in order to support them understanding the regulations.
You have:

  • a completed HBO or WO education;
  • a decent level of experience in regulatory change projects in the banking sector;
  • experience in data management and analytics;
  • a minimum of 2/3 years relevant work experience in the field of Finance and Risk Management
  • strong interpersonal and team working capabilities;
  • the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;

You are:

  • comfortable communicating in English;
  • self-starting and Hands-on;
  • tenacious, dedicated and self-motivated
  • well organised, thorough and hard working.
