The Business Insight Manager will be responsible for quantitative and qualitative analytics providing product, patient and customer knowledge information across the CENE Area (Central and Northern Europe). The position will interact closely with the Commercial Excellence Team, as well as Netherlands Sales and Marketing Team.

The position will be based at Alexion Den Haag Office, Netherlands.

You will be responsible for:

Business Insights Generation

  • Gather together key outputs and trends from Market Researches, feeding the results with insights and recommendations to support decision-making, identify market trends, and improve competitiveness.
  • Develop a set of analysis to dive into the data and highlight business insights useful and relevant to internal stakeholders like emerging sales and market trends, common behaviors of customers
  • Proactively lead generation of analysis and insights on all the therapeutic areas, presenting key findings to function leads and leadership
  • Optimize existing reports improving usability and structure with a long term focus, leveraging the existing technology (i.e. PowerBI)
  • Coordinate GBS (Global Business Support) team to update, develop and monitor CENE Area reporting tools (i.e. Power-BI dashboards)
  • Create innovative dashboards by using advanced statistical and visualizing tools (Geographical visualization of performance, interactive graphs and dashboards…) that supports business decisions for the Sales and Marketing
  • Run standard periodic reports (sales trend, report on Field force Activity, coverage of customer target and frequency of visits…)
  • Support Sales Incentive Plan development and execution

Customer Relationship Management

  • Create and support implementation of CRM Tools for all Sales Lines associated with new and existing products (via Veeva CRM)
  • Maintain correct functionality of the CRM reporting systems and ensure good quality of data stored into them. Manage autonomously the troubleshooting of the system (correct bugs, monitor reporting on status, manage recovery and temporary plan for long term resolutions)
  • Design and conduct local CRM training for new employees. Plan and deliver update sessions when necessary.
  • Collect improvement requests from users and manage appropriate system updates with EMEA and Global team.

You will need to have:

  • Fluent in both English and Dutch
  • 3+ years analytical and reporting experience; preferably in Pharma Industry and/or Management Consulting Industry
  • Advanced knowledge of the following tools and programs:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • PowerQuery and PowerBi
    • CRM systems, including SalesForce and Veeva
    • Microsoft Power Point
    • SAP Business Intelligence Suite
  • Strong experience using technology to work efficiently with large datasets such as scripting and statistical software packages
  • Strong writing and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deal with multiple functions and stakeholders
  • Experience in modelling and dashboard preparation
  • Ability to work independently, subject matter expert in its field
  • Ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Motivated and able to demonstrate initiative

We would prefer for you to have:

University Degree preferably in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering or Computer Science
