The work

As a Data Science & Machine Learning Engineering Analyst, you will be part of our Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting Data & AI team. The role is essentially a combination between being a Data Science consultant and a Machine Learning Engineering consultant, where you can specialize based on your skills and ambitions. Your work can vary, from advice on the big data platform and architecture our clients (need to) work on, to building scalable AI solutions by making use of state-of-the art technologies. As part of your day-to-day activities, you will be working with the largest big data vendors in the world and the top clients in the Netherlands and abroad.

People

• Partner with clients to identify and deliver optimal data and machine learning solutions tailored to their needs.
• Develop Proof-of-Concepts aimed at illustrating potential data science solutions to clients, showcasing the inherent value of employing data-driven methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and utilization of machine learning solutions.

Processes

• Analyze large, complex datasets and prepare them to support in key decision making
• Apply a diverse array of data science techniques, encompassing statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms, to extract insights and provide resolutions to business inquiries.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and machine learning solutions, optimizing data flow from ingestion to deployment.
• Drive the productization of models in cloud environments, adhering to best practices and ensuring operational efficiency.

Technology and Data

• Build end-to-end (Gen)AI pipelines to deliver value for our clients. Apply a wide range of machine learning techniques to extract insights and deliver value from data.
• o Develop production-ready code for machine learning models, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Leverage cloud technologies to deploy and manage machine learning models, ensuring seamless integration within client systems.

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need

• You have a master’s degree (WO) in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or Econometrics, AI, Business Analytics, or Information Management) with a specific emphasis on AI.
• You have between 0 and 3 years of professional experience in data analysis using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to solve business questions.
• You are fluent in Dutch (B2) and proficient in English (C1).
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are a great communicator and enjoy presenting findings and insights to an audience.
• You know your way around relevant programming languages (Python, SQL, R, etc.), Machine Learning techniques (LLMs, Neural Networks, Random Forest, etc.) and ML frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.).
• You have a good understanding of Generative AI, how it works and its applications.
• You are familiar with Git, command line, DevOps, Spark, Docker and API frameworks.
• You are curious with a proactive approach to continuous learning.

Bonus points if you have

• You have experience in creating and maintaining data pipeline architectures, identifying data related process improvements and building tools that enable machine learning activities.
• You are familiar with Cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
• Participated in extracurricular activities such as student consulting clubs, board roles, internships that showcase your leadership skills.
• Proven stakeholder management experience and familiarity with using AI, data science, and machine learning to achieve business goals.
