Data (Science) Assistant

De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek is looking for a Data (Science) Assistant who will be supporting our Legal Operations Department team on a multitude of administration tasks for different clients.

About the role:

Depending on your background, there are two possibilities:

• As a legal student, you will be responsible for data administration support. Tasks include but are not limited to: importing and classifying data and checking & electronic filing of documents.
• As an analytical student, you will be responsible for data handling and technical process support. Tasks include but are not limited to: data wrangling, data migration, automation, and process improvements.

All under the supervision of our Legal Project Management team and Data Scientists.

Working as a data (science) assistant offers a great opportunity for anybody with an eye for detail, who enjoys learning more about the daily business in an internationally oriented law firm. You will be working in a team with other data (science) assistants.

About you:

• We are looking for a student (any stage of their studies) who is flexible, stress resistant and able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
• A background in either law or technical/analytical studies.
• Excellent English skills.
• Working meticulously is very important in this position, and therefore having relevant experience is a plus.
• You need to be available two days a week; your workdays will be scheduled in agreement with you.
• Good IT knowledge and Excel skills are a must (or an extreme willingness to learn).
