Our client is a leading Dutch company specializing in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure. They specialize in civil engineering and work on projects such as roads, bridges, and tunnels. The company has a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, with an emphasis on using new technologies and materials to reduce environmental impact.

With a turnover of 300 million and a well-stocked order book and great ambitions in sustainability and circular construction, our client is a progressive organization where people come first.

Function

You will lead a team of 7 tactical buyers and 4 support staff. You will report to the Head of Project Management. The organization has a strategic procurement plan that needs to be implemented. Your team serves all 4 divisions within the organization. Division directors are essential stakeholders who must be involved in the transition. It is important to build internal support and demonstrate the added value of procurement to the projects. Although internal stakeholders and your team are aware and willing to work together, there are still many steps to take to convince everyone to embrace the new strategy.

In addition to guiding your team on tactical issues such as supplier sourcing and supplier management, you will play an important role in projects and tenders.

Your profile

• HBO work/thought level
• Extensive experience with procurement in a project organization (in construction is a plus)
• Leadership experience
• Intrinsic driver for sustainability and technological developments
• Dutch speaking

Offer

• Salary up to € 110,000 gross per year, depending on your experience and knowledge
