Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a highly competent Buyer based in Panama, responsible for managing commercial and sourcing activities within our Processing equipment category used by Nestlé worldwide.

Reporting directly to the Global Category Manager, your main responsibility will be to support the implementation of the category strategy on a regional & global level as required - utilizing strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

Located in hubs in Switzerland, Panama and Malaysia, our division provides a range of services, including the management of procurement for specific raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and other services. A day in the life of a Buyer – Processing Equipment:

Preparing and executing negotiation events - seeking best TCO contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers as approved by the Category Procurement managers. • Contributing to the global sourcing strategy with regional inputs by implementing the communication and supplier management plan. • Supporting contracts negotiations, ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers are in line with the strategy. • Monitoring market trends impacting the smooth implementation contracts and impacting our TCO (Total cost of ownership) • Ensuring compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards. • Support the category team with the data analysis and KPIs.

What makes you successful:

University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance or Engineering • A proven experience within Procurement, ideally in a technical category. • Demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for different Technical categories. • High learning speed and agility to navigate in ambiguity. • Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization. • A strong interest in the technical industry is advantageous. • Fluency in English is essential, Spanish is a big plus.
