Assignment
Develop an application that enables users to collect, convert, verify, optimize, and standardize the IBM Maximo master data and upload process and thereby facilitate the implementation of maintenance concepts for customers.
To manage the asset lifecycle of material handling systems Vanderlande has built an Enterprise Asset Management System based on the IBM Maximo (EAM) platform, designed to optimize and support asset and maintenance management processes.
Setting up new customers in the Vanderlande EAM system can take several days or weeks, depending on the size of a material handling system and contract type (Field Service Support or On-Site maintenance).
The Maximo Maintenance Setup Application will enable implementation specialists within the Vanderlande Global Service Organization to be more self-sufficient, use integrated validations to improve data quality first time right, apply maintenance standards, and reduce implementation time by increasing efficiency through less multi-party involvement.
The overall time savings from using an efficient application is expected to significantly reduce master data upload time with 30 to 40%.
