Senior Program Manager Logistics & Supply Chain

RITUALS is a fast-growing family-owned company. In support of this growth the logistics team has re-defined the distribution network strategy. Our to-be central distribution center is at the heart of that strategy.

We have taken the first design steps and laid out the plan to build a large warehouse in Tiel-Medel. In this building RITUALS and the 3PL will establish an automated omni-channel operation. The timeline for this project is over three years, the efforts will be executed across RITUALS, the 3PL, the building developer and construction company. “Supply Chain will never be the bottleneck for growth”.

For this logistics program we are looking for a highly experienced senior program manager. Someone who has launched warehouse (of factories) before and understands what it takes to run a program with this scope, complexity and budgets. YOU ARE ALL ABOUT

As Senior Program Manager Logistics & Supply Chain you are responsible for the program management of the development and launch of the new RITUALS DC. You work in close collaboration with the future 3PL, DC development party and the RITUALS project team including external expertise. This program represents a significant investment and needs to be managed across multiple parties and thus represents a landmark logistics program.

The role of the Senior Program Manager is to establish and maintain a solid program and secure timely delivery across all program elements. You are able to translate the Rituals’ logistics vision into the right approach and realization of the new distribution center.

SHARE YOUR TALENTS

The Senior Program Manager Logistics & Supply Chain will support Rituals growth by taking the responsibility for establishing the new DC operation including the scaling and transition.

For 40 hours a week you:

• Have overall responsible for program management primarily of the DC program (planning, budget and progress control, risk management);
• Set up and maintain the right project structure, resourcing, and governance from RITUALS perspective;
• Oversee the execution of the project work across all streams, partners and suppliers;
• Establish and maintain the contractual frameworks with our legal team;
• Support executive decision making by providing the right status and content updates;

In this position you report to and closely collaborate with the Director Logistics. You will also report to the steering committee. Furthermore, you are leading the program team while working in close collaboration with Supply Chain teams, business, Business Technology and customers.

BRING ALL OF YOU

High on energy, low on ego and with a little bit of humour. You are also 'one of a kind' because of your capability to grasp all the logistic program challenges in this Distribution Centre Transformation. On top of it, you have:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in distribution network and distribution center transformation, including implementation of new centra and warehouse automation;
• Preferably a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics;
• Strong program management experience and skills in logistics operations;
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience with managing Logistics / 3PL partnerships;
• Understanding of IT design and implementation;
• Fluent Dutch and English language skills.
