Your Impact

For our clients, cyber threats are a growing challenge. Ordina helps these customers increase their digital resilience. Using your technical security knowledge, experience and passion for the field, you will help customers to better protect themselves against digital threats. You secure applications and (cloud) infrastructures by designing and implementing security measures, or by monitoring these environments and responding to security incidents. You understand the impact of these incidents on an organization and are able to quickly translate that understanding into actionable intelligence. This way you create value to our customers, who thanks to you can do business securely.

As a cyber security specialist at Ordina, you play a key role in security projects and contribute to optimal service provision. You will work closely with colleagues inside and outside your own team. You will have the opportunity to develop yourself and our services.

Where you're going to get started

Ordina is the largest independent IT service provider in the Benelux. Within our business unit 'Cybersecurity & Compliance' we help our customers protect their digital business with solutions for cybersecurity, compliance and financial economic crime. Cybersecurity & Compliance is one of Ordina's five primary business propositions, putting it at the heart of our strategy. The business unit consists of four practices: Security Testing & Reporting (red team), Security Operations & Engineering (blue team), Security Strategy & Maturity (advisory) and Financial Economic Crime (FEC).

The practice 'Security Operations & Engineering ' focuses on protecting clients from digital threats and risks with a multidisciplinary team of some 20 cybersecurity specialists such as analysts, engineers and consultants. Based on their technical security expertise, they work closely with clients on prevention, detection and response to cyber risks. They do this by providing managed security services, such as security monitoring, vulnerability management and threat protection. They also assess, research and implement technical security solutions to make client environments more resilient. In addition, they increase customer preparedness with incident response and crisis management services.

This is you

You have a passion for cybersecurity and technology and you have at least two years of experience in security. You are proactive, curious and always looking for new developments in our field. You are keen to find innovative solutions needed to protect companies from incidents. Keeping security controls reliable and implementing new solutions is therefore fully entrusted to you. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues who are just as committed as you are. We love it when you are active in security communities and we will give you the space to keep doing so. You are not averse to a bottle of Club Mate and you are not startled by colleagues with nerf guns.

Next to that we would love to see:

  • A college or university degree, majoring in IT or Cybersecurity;
  • An above-average interest in cybersecurity and technology;
  • Solid technical knowledge of ICT, where you can translate risks into feasible security measures;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a cybersecurity specialist in the field of security engineering, security monitoring and/or incident response;
  • Certifications such as GSEC, GSEC, GCIH, Security+ or certifications in Azure (e.g. AZ900 and AZ500), Defender, AWS, Splunk, ArcSight or Elastic.

Benefits

At Ordina Cybersecurity & Compliance we offer you the opportunity to work in an environment with driven colleagues who are passionate about their profession. With us you can continue to develop as a professional by working on assignments at the best companies in the Netherlands and by learning from colleagues. Knowledge development is very important to us, as is contributing to the safety of the Netherlands through our involvement in security communities, education and research.
