As a Cloud Security Consultant at Accenture SecurityNL, you will advise our clients on how to secure their Cloud/Hybrid environments from a holistic perspective. Holistic in the sense that security consists of more than just the technology, but always relies on people and processes for success in keeping our client’s valuable data secure. Typically, that would look as follows;

• people
• You are the linking pin between the business, IT, and the security department and you make sure that security is supported and realized properly through each of these.
• processes
• Cloud migrations have impact on existing security processes or might require new ones. You are able to define and discuss the processes required for efficient and effective security operations.
• technology
• (Cloud) Security relies on technology such as vulnerability scanners, Infrastructure as Code, back-up services, firewalls, etc. etc. You must be able to understand these technologies and their purpose on a decent level. But please note that in this role, it is not expected of you to do hands-on cloud engineering (e.g., develop IaC) or security solution configuration (e.g., create Sentinel playbooks, configure Defender).
• data
• Client data is crucial for their business goals, the goals that we are trying to protect. You will drive security measures to protect this data especially in the landscape changing due to Cloud technology. Think of a simple transformation such as the move to online filesharing vs. device-bound storage.

You will be part of the Cloud & Infrastructure Security team that delivers security value for large and complex organizations. You are expected to demonstrate consulting experience through strong communication skills that speak to a diverse field of stakeholders, from stakeholders involved in IT/security operations to stakeholders accountable for high-level security objectives. Typical activities that you perform at our clients include:

• Design and implement the building blocks of secure Cloud migration journeys that our clients are undertaking;
• Ensure security solutions are properly adopted in the Cloud/Hybrid environments of organizations by keeping perspective of the people and process aspects;
• Deliver Cloud security projects as part of a larger Accenture team;
• Assess organisations’ existing Cloud security posture and maturity, propose and be able to manage recommendations.

here's what you'll need

• Experience in the security field of at least two years and willing to stay in, or move to, a consultancy role;
• Preferably, consulting experience in securing Cloud/Hybrid environments of at least one year;
• A Bachelor or Master’s degree, preferably related to Business IT or Security, such as Business Informatics, Computer Security, ICT & Business, Business Analytics, Data Science or equivalent;
• A team player that knows how to communicate in layman’s terms and who can analyse, advise on, and solve complex Cloud security challenges;
• Fluent in English and/or Dutch

bonus points if you have

• A Cloud (vendor) certification specifically aimed at Cloud security knowledge and skills (e.g., CCSP, or various CSP certificates) ;
