Stage Operational Risk Management ABN AMRO

At ABN AMRO Financing Solutions, you will join the Control & Reporting team within the strategic Operational Risk Management domain. The team plays a key role in reinforcing compliance and operational integrity, helping the organization operate within risk appetite and supporting its credit-related activities across the full credit lifecycle.

As an intern in Operational Risk Management, you will support a variety of activities that help manage and monitor risks across the organization. You will assist with process improvements, develop tools such as dashboards, and contribute to reporting efforts that enable clear communication.

You will work with topics such as Risk Appetite, Risk Reporting, Dashboarding, and Risk Self-Assessment, while collaborating closely with colleagues and contributing hands-on ideas to enhance and monitor controls.

What you bring to the table

• You have a basic understanding of Operational Risk Management aspects.
• You are enthusiastic, proactive and creative at solving problems.
• You work well both independently and as part of a team.
• You are looking for an internship from September 2026 onwards.
• You are available for a minimum of four days a week for a period of 20 weeks.
• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, with AI, Finance, or Business Administration as a plus.
• You have strong communication skills and are fluent in English, with Dutch as a plus.
