At Eneco, we are building a stronger, faster, and more data-driven growth engine. In this role, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for the digital journeys that help customers join, renew, upgrade, and stay with us. That means how we sell today and how we will sell tomorrow: through AI Eva on our app and web, through agents that guide, recommend and close inside our funnel, and through the external LLMs where customers are already asking “which energy provider should I pick?”. This role sits at the intersection of commercial performance, customer experience, product craft and AI.
What you’ll do
- Shape the strategy and backlog for Eneco’s owned commercial sales channels
- Shape how AI changes the funnel: design journeys where an agent recommends, negotiates and closes, with clear guardrails on margin, compliance and customer trust
- Work closely with engineers, designers, analysts, and business stakeholders to turn opportunities into shipped impact
- Identify where customers drop, hesitate, or lose confidence and turn those insights into focused product bets
- Lead a sharp experimentation agenda on conversion and retention, and use LLMs to go faster on hypotheses, funnel diagnosis, copy variants and readouts without losing rigour
- Challenge assumptions with data and evidence, and keep the team focused on measurable outcomes in a complex environment

- You have led meaningful improvements in conversion, retention, revenue or funnel performance, and at least one of those stories involves an AI or LLM-driven product choice
- You are highly data-driven, comfortable with funnel analytics and experiment results, and you use LLMs deliberately to go faster without losing rigour
- You are meticulous, structured, and strong in prioritisation
- You have a strong product craft foundation: strategy, discovery, roadmap quality, stakeholder alignment, and execution
- You know how to lead a cross-functional team with clarity, principles, and high standards
- You preferably are fluent in AI product work at a working level: you have shipped LLM-powered features in production and you have opinions on prompting, evals, guardrails and RAG. You set the quality bar on AI output, not your engineers
- You have a point of view on what agentic commerce and external LLM distribution mean for a business like ours, and you want to be the one shaping it
- You can balance short-term commercial wins with long-term product quality
- You communicate crisply, challenge constructively, and know how to influence senior stakeholders
You’ll be responsible for
- The end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for our online sales and retention journeys
- Conversion optimisation across the funnel, from first interaction to completed purchase or renewal
- A strong experimentation agenda, including hypothesis creation, prioritisation, test design, and readout
- Improvements to renewal, upsell, cross-sell, and win-back journeys
- Product decisions grounded in customer insight, funnel analytics, and commercial performance
- Clear product principles that help the team make better, faster, and more scalable decisions
- AI-driven selling on our own surfaces: conversational and agentic commerce through Eva on app and web, from first question to signed contract
- Our commercial presence inside external LLMs (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot): how customers discover, compare and ultimately transact with Eneco there

You will work in our customer growth team where we define three areas: Commerce growth, Commerce engineering and the personalisation team. You will work in the first team under the lead of our Group product manager.
