This opportunity is for an Account Executive supporting Network & Media clients across EMEA, working with new and inactive Network Service Providers such as Telcos, ISPs, Content Service Providers, subsea cable companies, and fiber companies, selling Equinix solutions in support of their growth and optimization.

The Team and the Role

This Account Executive will work with new and inactive Network Service Providers (Telcos, ISP, Content Service Providers, Subsea cable companies, Fiber companies) selling Equinix solutions in support of their growth and optimization.

The Role

  • Own an assigned portfolio of local, regional and global network accounts.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships across varying LOBs and lead the full sales cycle from discovery and pipeline creation to negotiation and close.
  • Mine dormant, under-penetrated, and regional prospect accounts adopting the Challenger methodology, building awareness of Equinix value, generating demand and nurturing a pipeline of opportunities through a demonstrated understanding of current market dynamics, customer business needs and challenges, and solution selling.
  • Manage an existing portfolio of accounts and services to ensure Equinix value is realized, churn is mitigated and the customer’s business priorities are well understood.
  • Integrate knowledge of the account and stakeholders into global and regional account plans, Quarterly Business Reviews, coordinated customer responses, accurate forecasting and delivery against revenue and growth objectives.
  • Lead complex sales engagement and solutioning end-to-end to progress opportunities, structure solutions, and deliver customer-aligned outcomes by orchestrating the extended sales and support teams.
