Credit and Collections Intern

This position will provide you with the fundamentals for a successful career in Finance and Accounting, expertise in financial processes and systems for all lines of business, capability to monitor metrics and develop reporting tools, and subject matter knowledge in Credit & Collections.

The role

As a Credit & Collections Intern, you will be part of the Credit Controlling and Collection Team, which is responsible for the order-to-cash process within 16 different entities. Just like every other team member, you will be working on reporting interfaces, direct debit checks, client contact, strategic projects, process improvement, and more.

As an active member of the team, you will also be expected to provide critical feedback on tasks and processes, including investigation and analysis of credit risk, recommending credit limits for new and existing customers, assisting in reconciling receivables as assigned, resolving open issues, and supporting other duties and projects as assigned.

What You Will Need to Succeed

We are looking for a student who:

• Is good with numbers, possesses sound communication skills, and has the ability to multitask.
• Pursues Finance, Accounting, or related studies.
• Is fluent in English and any other European language.
• Is organized and open to feedback.
• Is eager to learn, proactive, and a multitasker.
• Is knowledgeable in Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Some practical aspects

• You are available to start at the beginning of July/August 2026 and have the possibility to work with us for 5–6 months.
• Please note this is a full-time work experience internship (40 hours a week). Therefore, it does not qualify as a thesis or graduation internship, or as a part-time assignment.
• You need to be enrolled as a student toward attaining a degree to apply. If you are not a European national, you will need to provide an approved Nuffic agreement.
