As Manager QA/QC Meppel, you are responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control at site level, ensuring that all products leaving the site are safe, legal and meet FrieslandCampina and customer expectations. You lead the Site QA/QC team and foster a trustful, transparent and collaborative way of working across all functions. As a member of the Site Management Team and the Business Group QA Team, you play a key role in driving quality performance and continuous improvement.

Ce que nous demandons

• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline
• Proven experience in a QA leadership/manager role within a production or site environment
• Experience with quality management systems, standards and audits
• Experience with site certifications, customer audits and handling customer quality questions
• Experience in quality risk management, complaint handling and crisis management
• Experience working in projects, such as validations, change management or quality improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical skills and experience with quality performance indicators
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing

As Manager QA/QC Meppel, you are accountable for implementing, sustaining and continuously improving the FrieslandCampina Foqus Quality Management Process, Standards and Systems at site level. You ensure that quality, food safety and compliance are fully embedded in daily operations and decision‑making.

You lead the Site QA/QC organization and play a central role in safeguarding product quality, driving performance and strengthening a strong quality culture across the site.

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

• Leading people management to ensure a high‑performance QA/QC organization, focusing on engagement, retention, talent development and sustainable employability
• Acting as a member of the Site Management Team and Business Group QA Team, contributing to site and cluster quality strategy
• Ensuring site compliance with all required certifications and FrieslandCampina Foqus standards
• Delivering site targets on customer complaints, First Time Right and failure costs
• Preventing significant quality issues related to innovation, change and new product introductions
• Ensuring effective quality issue management in case of critical complaints and crises, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions
• Driving continuous improvement in quality performance and customer satisfaction
• Collaborating closely with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D and Business Group Quality teams to ensure quality by design

Through strong leadership, transparency and collaboration, you ensure that quality and food safety are at the heart of everything the Meppel site delivers.

You will directly manage 8 FTE (7 QA employees and 1 QC Manager). The total QA/QC organization at the site consists of approximately 30 colleagues.

You are an active member of:

• The Plant Leadership Team
• The Business Group QA Team, together with peer QA Managers
• The Business Group Quality community, including SQM and Performance & Compliance
