The Chapter Lead — Project Management is responsible for leading and managing a large project management pool of approximately 50 FTE within the CIO unit of the CTO area of Allianz Partners. This strategic leadership role oversees the delivery of IT projects across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT transformation initiatives.
Operating within a fully agile demand and delivery model, the Chapter Lead — Project Management ensures optimal allocation of project managers based on varying IT project needs. This role serves as the bridge between the Lines of Business and IT, ensuring strategic planning and operational execution, fostering excellence in project delivery, iterative improvements, and team capability development.
