We are seeking a Customer Interface Account Specialist to manage relationships with our diverse vegetable sector clients.

Your New Role

As a Customer Interface Account Specialist for the French market, you will manage the service relationship with an assigned customer base in the vegetable sector, serving as the primary contact for accounts. Your responsibilities will include supporting external customers, such as plant raisers and distributors, as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders like sales and logistics. Acting as a liaison, you will provide product information and efficiently resolve issues.

Success in this position requires a passion for helping customers, excellent communication skills, and the ability to empathize and advocate for their needs. Strong problem-solving abilities are essential, as you will troubleshoot and seek information to address customer complaints. Your ultimate goal is to ensure a customer-centric approach in all operations while thriving in a diverse international environment.

This role offers the flexibility to work from home, with an expectation of being in the office in Hoofddorp at least two days a week, including a fixed in-office day on Tuesday.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Own the French service relationship with your assigned customer base, acting as the primary communication contact for accounts and Sales Team members regarding all service, order, and operational inquiries.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal resources to resolve customer issues and deliver effective solutions.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to all customer inquiries regarding orders, supply availability, and product information, adhering to defined lead times and expectations.
  • Proactively provide updates on orders, supply availability, and products to assigned accounts, leveraging opportunities to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Understand marketing and operational programs relevant to your customer base or region and accurately explain customer eligibility and program details.
  • Receive and create customer sales orders, manage delivery prioritization, and handle invoices and other fiscal document management.
  • Understand relevant KPIs and metrics for your role and department, maintain ongoing awareness of current performance, and proactively work to close performance gaps in partnership with your Squad Coach and Unit Lead.

Who are you?

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, adeptly managing multiple tasks while building strong relationships over the phone. With a natural sense of urgency, you prioritize data accuracy, enabling you to understand relevant KPIs and metrics. You maintain awareness of current performance and proactively collaborate with your Squad Coach and Unit Lead to close any performance gaps.

Furthermore, you possess:

  • Fluency in French and English (C2 level) and currently reside in the Netherlands.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in Customer Service, Planning, Logistics, Account Management, or Sales within the French market.
  • 2-5 years of experience in services related to Supply Chain, Commercial, Administration, Logistics, Customer Service, or Operations within the French market.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with SAP and SFDC.
