Job opportunity description
This vacancy is with Advanced Computing and ICT Services Unit of the Directorate Digital Transformation and Data.
The successful candidate will be part of the Data Analytics and Infrastructure Services team, which develops and evolves data analytics services and associated infrastructures and platform for the JRC. The jobholder will contribute to the evolution of the on-premises cloud data analytics platform known as the JRC Big Data Analytics Platform (BDAP). S/he will contribute to the design, development, test, deployment, operation/maintenance of the Big Data Analytics (BDAP) backend and frontend services. The evolution encompasses its linking with other data and IT infrastructures at JRC as well as external computing services such as the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem, and commercial cloud providers.
