Amsterdam – Reach 91% of all Dutch people with your work. As a Medior Cloud Ops / Platform Engineer you make daily impact by enabling our news media, magazines, online services, radio and TV through cutting-edge AI infrastructure. Do you want to develop yourself further? Read on.

What will you do?

You take ownership of the cloud operations powering DPG Media’s GenAI Platform. You deploy AI services across managed Kubernetes, manage infrastructure spanning AWS, Azure and GCP, secure credentials and integrations, and build reliable CI/CD pipelines. Without you, our AI platform cannot scale or run reliably. You grow into LLMOps — the practice of deploying, serving and monitoring large language models in production — supported by a tech lead with hands‑on experience in this space.

You achieve this by:

• Deploying workloads on managed Kubernetes today, and potentially dedicated GPU‑accelerated clusters tomorrow.
• Managing infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform) across multiple cloud providers.
• Ensuring security through secrets management, credential rotation and best practices.
• Designing CI/CD automation and Git workflows for the team.
• Monitoring, observing and documenting platform operations.

We are the GenAI & Innovation department at DPG Media. We build the operational foundation for enterprise AI model serving, enabling the organisation’s AI capabilities to reach millions of users through our trusted media brands.

What makes you the ideal candidate?

For this role we seek a driven cloud and infrastructure professional. You are optimistic, involved, focused and collaborative. You bring:

• 4+ years experience in a similar role
• Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes (CKAD level).
• Hands‑on expertise with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Infrastructure‑as‑code skills, preferably Terraform.
• Strong security practices around secrets and credentials.
• Skills in Python for automation, Git workflows and CI/CD design.

Nice to have:

• GPU workload management (NVIDIA GPU Operator, device plugins).
• Model serving infrastructure (vLLM, SageMaker or equivalent).
• Multi‑cloud networking and identity federation.
• OpenTelemetry / distributed tracing.
