About the Marketing Director role at Highberg

As Marketing Director at Highberg, you will drive the marketing vision and bring our brand to the next level. You will shape and execute our positioning, go-to-market strategy, and demand-generation approach to strengthen our presence across all markets. You ensure a consistent, recognizable, and professional brand experience that supports our growth ambitions.

In this senior role, you act as a visible ambassador for the Highberg brand, both internally and externally. You bring direction, clarity, and energy to the marketing team and the wider organisation, ensuring focus and impact on everything we do. Working closely with the CEO and management team, you play a key role in further strengthening Highberg as one unified organisation with a clear market position, while leading and developing a team of five marketing professionals.

Your main responsibilities

Marketing

  • Own and drive the overall marketing vision, strategy, and brand positioning;
  • Translate business objectives into clear marketing priorities and measurable goals;
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all offices, propositions, and markets;
  • Provide strategic guidance to marketing managers and business leaders.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team;
  • Set clear priorities, roles, and expectations;
  • Build a collaborative, professional, and high-performance culture;
  • Ensure alignment between marketing and the business.

Campaigns & Execution

  • Design and oversee integrated marketing campaigns;
  • Ensure high-quality execution across all channels;
  • Monitor campaign performance and implement improvements when needed;
  • Work closely with MT and CEO to support commercial goals.

Digital, Content & Visibility

  • Lead digital marketing strategy across the website, SEO, social, paid media, and email;
  • Oversee content strategy, thought leadership, and brand storytelling;
  • Ensure strong and consistent online presence;
  • Stimulate visibility of partners, consultants, and propositions.

Lead Generation & Growth Support

  • Develop demand generation and lead generation programs;
  • Monitor lead quality, conversion, and ROI;
  • Support go-to-market of new propositions and services;
  • Ensure marketing contributes directly to revenue growth.

PR, Events & External Presence

  • Oversee PR, partnerships, sponsorships, and events;
  • Strengthen the market reputation of Highberg;
  • Ensure professional and consistent external communication;
  • Build relationships with key external stakeholders.

Internal Alignment & Visibility

  • Work closely with partners and directors across offices;
  • Be visible and approachable across locations;
  • Create clarity about direction and priorities;
  • Ensure marketing is seen as a strategic partner.

What we are asking

  • 10–15+ years of marketing experience, preferably in consulting or B2B professional services;
  • Experience building or professionalising a marketing function;
  • Experience in managing a team;
  • Strong background in brand positioning, demand generation, and digital marketing;
  • Experience with marketing automation and HubSpot;
  • Proven track record in lead generation and pipeline development;
  • Experience with a partner structure is a strong plus;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at senior level;
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution;
  • Fluency in English is required, Dutch is a plus.

  • Salary range: €7,000 – €8,000 per month, depending on seniority and track record;
