Job description

While consumers overpay for low-quality coffee, coffee farmers often earn too little to make a living. That's why we're all about selling the best coffee - not just for its taste, but also for fair pay for the farmers we partner with. Our beans are fully traceable back to the farm and are poured into your cup or delivered fresh to your doorstep.

We're a no-nonsense, ambitious startup with a clear mission: to positively impact the world with exceptional coffee.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior ERP & Planning Assistant to manage the lifecycle of our product data and help the planning team coordinate product/system changes and some purchasing.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and sales systems are up-to-date and synchronized. This role is critical for maintaining high-quality product listings across all sales channels and making sure that planning around product changes and weekly purchases runs smoothly.

This is a great role if you enjoy working with systems, keeping things organized, and spotting small details that make a big difference. You will work closely with the planning team to support operations and improve processes. We’re looking for someone who is proactive and autonomous, with a strong curiosity and eagerness to experiment, test new ideas, and continuously learn from results.

Responsibilities

Planning & Purchasing Support

  • Coordinating product changes across different teams
  • Creating purchase orders in the ERP system
  • Supporting the planning team in setting inventory targets
  • Helping with cycle counts of inventory
  • Reporting on inbound and outbound stock movements

Product Information & System Management

  • Creating and maintaining SKUs and product information
  • Performing price updates in the system
  • Testing product flows across different systems
  • Supporting tests of ERP process flows
  • Troubleshooting information flows between systems
  • Regularly auditing systems to ensure data accuracy

What we offer

  • Work in a young, flexible, international, and entrepreneurial team
  • Unlimited enjoyment of the best coffee
  • Flexible working hours
  • Opportunities for growth within the organization

Our culture

At Wakuli, we are impact accelerators — this forms the foundation of our work culture. We operate based on three core principles and six core values that guide how we collaborate:

  • We make each other better – we continuously strive for improvement and work from trust
  • We sharpen our focus – we work with clarity and determination
  • We keep up the pace as one team – with responsibility and ambition, we grow Wakuli’s impact together

We all genuinely love what we do. So if you enjoy challenges, developing new skills, and taking initiative, you will feel right at home in the Wakuli family ☕

Job requirements

You don’t need to meet every requirement to apply. We value curiosity, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.

  • Experience with ERP systems (for example Odoo)
  • Experience with data entry or operational tools
  • Interest in systems, planning, or operations
  • Experience with sales & PMI systems is a plus
  • Comfortable with data and digital tools
  • Structured and detail-oriented
  • Good communication and planning skills
  • Quick learner
  • Autonomous and able to prioritize
  • English required, Dutch is a plus

Nice to have (but not required):

  • Background/Education in business or system administration

Wakuli is turning the coffee industry on its head – for the better.
How? By creating the shortest value chain in coffee and leveraging technology to connect. We're reimagining the coffee supply chain by eliminating traditional middlemen and giving coffee farmers their fair share, whilst sourcing the highest quality specialty beans straight from farmer-friends in Africa, Latin-America and Asia. We deliver this coffee freshly roasted to our customers through the my.wakuli platform.
