This role is for a Jr. Brand Building Manager Flexa at AkzoNobel.
Purpose of the job
The junior brand building manager Flexa is partly responsible for the brand development; the execution of strategic plans for the flagship consumer paint brand Flexa, with all its different concepts and channels.
Key responsibilities
- Partly responsible for Flagship brand Flexa for the Netherlands and the implementation of the local strategy
- Responsible for brand Hammerite for the Netherlands
- Manage portfolio of the assortment; make analyses and tail management
- Compose local year plan Flexa and Hammerite for product range in cooperation with the senior brand manager and marketing manager aimed at realization of the marketing objectives of the organization
- Execute local price policy and analyse price policy of the competitors
- Manage product range in order to achieve cost-efficient and high-quality results
- Analyze market evolutions on the basis of market research executed by in-or external agencies in order to formulate conclusions for composing or redirecting the marketing plan
- Monitor proactive the sales figures and campaign results, notify the remarkable elements to the marketing manager and tune actions if necessary
- Collect market information to substantiate new product development proposals
- Fully engaged in the product development process
- Perform the product launches on the basis of strategic global policies regarding aspects of marketing communication (launch campaign, brochure, website, direct mail etc)
- Translate the global guidelines to the local market and use best practices
- Initiate and perform innovations/product enhancements with high added value
Job requirements
- Bachelor/Master discipline Marketing/Communication
- Experience: starter to 2 years Marketing
- Social skills, creative, innovative, analytical, team player, project management skills, communicator
- Dutch and English; oral and written
