Your main tasks at Highberg

As a Lead HR Operations, you play a crucial role within our organisation. Together with four colleagues, you form the Employee Administration & Recruitment Support team, in which you take the lead. Together, you are responsible for all administrative HR processes. In addition, you work closely with the HR Business Partners in the areas of recruitment and absence management, and you provide the necessary data to monitor and steer HR KPIs. In this way, you contribute to the best possible Highberg employee experience.

A selection of your responsibilities:

  • You are a visible point of contact for part of the organisation regarding HR administration and answer all HR-related questions from employees. You ensure information is easy to find;
  • You have an all-round operational role in HR administration: from processing changes related to onboarding, internal mobility and offboarding, to preparing payroll and supporting the absence management process;
  • You ensure HR processes run smoothly and efficiently, and you work on improvements and standardisation in a project-based manner;
  • You play an important role in the initial selection and screening of candidates and coordinate recruitment and pre-boarding;
  • Together with colleagues, you provide data analyses for key HR KPIs and identify improvement opportunities for the HR Director and HR Business Partners;
  • You work with the team to determine the best distribution of tasks and responsibilities, taking a leading role in daily operations.

We are currently transitioning to one HR team for Highberg, moving from a structure of nine separate companies. This means many changes—and a unique opportunity to experience a transformation firsthand and learn from it.

What we are asking

  • A completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in HRM or a related field;
  • At least 4 years of experience in an administrative HR role;
  • Knowledge of HR systems and current Dutch labour laws and regulations. Knowledge of legislation in other countries (such as Germany) is a plus;
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English, as English is the working language within Highberg.

  • A gross monthly salary including holiday allowance between €4,500 and €5,000 (depending on experience), plus a performance bonus;
  • 25 vacation days, with the option to purchase additional days;
