Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

As part of the Digital Sales team, the Digital Partnerships pillar is responsible for driving strategic commercial partnerships and revenue growth through our DTC digital channels. In this role, the Manager Partner Evolution will play a crucial part in identifying and executing new business initiatives within Digital Partnerships, driving horizontal growth across its three business channels: Partnership Marketing, Gift Cards, and Brand Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification and development of commercial growth initiatives, collaborating with team leads and account managers to unlock new opportunities across Closed-Group Partnerships, Gift Cards (Ecommerce, Retail, and Third-Party resellers/marketplaces), and Brand Partnerships.
  • Drive the end-to-end execution of business initiatives, managing projects from concept through implementation to post-launch optimization, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed business cases and financial plans for new initiatives, including revenue projections, cost analysis, and proposals for senior stakeholder alignment and approval.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of projects, address challenges, and maintain operational excellence throughout the lifecycle of initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviors to uncover new opportunities, providing actionable insights to refine partnership and channel strategies.
  • Work closely with the Legal team throughout the contractual process to ensure new partnership opportunities meet required standards and support business objectives.
  • Report regularly on project progress, performance metrics, and areas for further optimization, to the Director Digital Partnerships and channel leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Digital Partnerships, Global Product Owners, Digital Sales Analytics, eCommerce Operations, eCommerce Consumer Experience, Legal, and Digital Brand teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives end-to-end, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to develop business cases, financial plans, and proposals that drive alignment and decision-making at senior levels.
  • Solid understanding of Partnership Marketing (closed-group audiences) and Gift Card businesses (Direct-To-Consumer and Third-Party channels), including commercial and operational dynamics.
  • Good understanding of the adidas Brand Partnership ecosystem, including collaboration models and key strategic drivers.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, translating data and market insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and senior stakeholders.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in business development, project management or related job, preferably in ecommerce, fashion, or sporting goods industries.
  • Proficient in written & spoken English.
  • Understanding of any additional written & spoken European language is a plus.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
