Shape the future of TUI Airline's network strategy and drive commercial growth across our global operations. As Head of Long-Term Network Strategy, you'll lead a team that defines our route portfolio and provides critical input to fleet planning decisions.

This vacancy can be located at any of our headquarters within Zaventem, Luton, Stockholm, Rijswijk and Hannover.

This role sits within Airline Commercial and Network Planning & B2B Sales and reports to Director Network Planning & B2B Sales.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll define and maintain our long-term network plan aligned with seasonal demand patterns, customer requirements, and TUI Group priorities, identifying new route opportunities and market entry strategies.
  • Working as the commercial lead for fleet planning, you'll translate network ambitions into aircraft capacity requirements and collaborate closely with Fleet, Finance, and Strategy teams.
  • We'll rely on you to develop structured, insight-driven route proposals including financial modeling, revenue forecasts, and ROI analysis for both new opportunities and existing route optimization.
  • Partnering with Data & Analytics, you'll build a culture of evidence-based planning using performance dashboards and predictive models to refine long-term network decisions.
  • Coordination with Revenue Management, Scheduling and Flight Operations ensures our long-term network remains feasible, scalable, and profit-maximizing.

ABOUT YOU

  • You bring proven experience in leading airline network strategy, route profitability assessment, and capacity planning within a multi-market airline environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness allows you to translate customer and market insights into effective network development strategies.
  • Your advanced skills in financial analysis and business case development are complemented by proficiency in using data analytics tools for strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in aligning network strategy with fleet planning and understanding aircraft deployment scenarios is essential for this role.
  • The ability to build strong partnerships across regions and functions ensures joint ownership of planning outcomes in our matrix organization.
