About the Role: Build strategic approach to measuring and evaluating the impact of the professional education program. Collaborate with business and data stakeholders to create reporting & conduct analyses to enable business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

ANALYTICS PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

  • Enhance and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to monitor key education and financial metrics, trends, and performance indicators
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders (global and local) and business stakeholders to gather and document education data requirements, define KPIs, and ensure dashboards meet analytical needs
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and enhancements to existing dashboards and reporting processes
  • Leverage knowledge of analytics trends, best-in-class BI visualizations, technology developments, and best practices to enhance the value of tools and services

ADHOC ANALYSIS & INSIGHT GENERATION

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns in the professional education program, including ROI analyses
  • Strategize tests to run and ad-hoc analysis and reporting
  • Support the generation of insights from data
  • Translate complex data findings into clear and concise summaries, presentations, and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

DATA CULTURE

  • Develop and maintain documentation for all developed dashboards, including data sources, calculations, and business logic
  • Partner with education and business stakeholders on the interpretation of results and actions to take based on analysis conducted
  • Develop and maintain a strong working collaboration with data, IT, education and brand owners within the division and across L’Oreal USA
  • Be a strong contributor to the relevant analytics communities

Skills:

  • 8-12 years of professional experience in data and analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
  • Advanced data visualization and reporting skills.
  • Expertise in SQL and/or other data manipulation languages.
  • Strong consultative and collaboration skills with technical and nontechnical partners
  • Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven project management capabilities.

Impact: Influences decision-making about the professional education program at a strategic level within the division. Their work contributes to improvements in business performance and efficiency.

Project Complexity: Manages complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and potentially impacting multiple business areas. Leads projects with some ambiguity and requires adaptation to changing requirements. Focuses on driving significant business improvements with analytics.
