Are you passionate about translating complex business questions into robust, scalable data solutions? Rituals is on a journey of data-driven transformation, and we are looking for a Medior Analytics Engineer to be a cornerstone of our growing team. If you thrive on building impactful data products and supporting the engineering craft of your team, we’d love to have you join us.

Role Purpose

As an Analytics Engineer, you are at the heart of our data-driven world. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining essential data pipelines and models that provide clean, reliable, and accessible data for the entire organization. Working within a collaborative squad, you will apply your technical skills and your curiosity to solve real business problems, helping to translate data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, reporting specialists and analysts to understand their needs, define KPIs, and translate them into clear, effective data products.
  • Embrace and contribute to our 'everything-as-code' philosophy, where everything from data pipelines to monitoring and data contracts is managed through version-controlled code.
  • Design, build, maintain, and optimize robust and scalable data pipelines in our GCP environment, primarily using BigQuery, dbt, and Cloud Composer (Airflow).
  • Validate data quality programmatically and ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of your pipelines.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, apply team engineering standards to your work and enhance your skills.
  • Actively contribute to agile team ceremonies, suggest improvements to our development processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–4 years of experience in a data role, such as analytics engineering, data engineering, or data analysis with a strong technical focus.
  • Strong SQL skills are essential.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern data tool like dbt is highly desirable.
  • Experience or a strong interest in an 'everything-as-code' environment where infrastructure, monitoring, and quality are managed through code.
  • Familiarity with a cloud data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) and an eagerness to master our GCP-based stack.
  • A curious, collaborative, and proactive mindset, with a genuine interest in understanding business processes through data.
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A genuine passion for data modeling and understanding the "why" behind business requests.
  • Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

Benefits of working at Rituals

  • Unique opportunities for personal and professional growth
  • Staff discount on Rituals products
  • Attractive bonus
  • Flexible working hours tailored to your personal rhythm
  • Company & team events
