How do you make our customers happy?

By expertly managing contracts with bol’s technical partners, including international suppliers of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and other technical assets. Our platform is rapidly growing in terms of customers and partners, and our fulfillment centers have to keep up. This is why we’re investing in expansions and improvements to our current warehousing assets. Do you have what it takes to manage all of the contracts this involves?

The biggest challenge

The playing field is extensive and complex. With so many contracts to manage, how can you ensure safety? How can you motivate domestic and foreign technical partners to deliver better results? Does anything need to change, and if so: what? When? And at what cost? How do we take contract management as a discipline to a more mature level?

What you’ll do as Key Account Manager / Contract Manager: Asset Management

In this role, you’ll build long-term win-win partnerships. Simultaneously, you need to stay in control of budgets, safety, and performance. That boils down to challenging suppliers to outdo themselves and deliver new innovations. Counterparts like Service Managers and Senior Account Managers focus on KPIs and quality norms. Fortunately, we have you to fill them in: what do we want, why, and by what date and time. For example, during governance meetings. You also develop reports to give internal stakeholders more grip on suppliers’ performance. And if the Maintenance Managers or Business Analysts report issues, you have the expertise and capabilities to take the sting out of an escalation.

• You ensure that bol’s asset management strategy is embedded in every contract we sign with Technical partners
• You develop OPEX budgets and make sure that no one overspends
• If a contract needs to be altered, you take care of everything in line with governance policies and in collaboration with Procurement and Legal
• You have a radar for risks and know how to mitigate them
• You improve contract management processes and procedures, in support of long term strategic Asset Management.
• You step things up with the team so that Assets and our partners are ready for the peak period
