Innovation Process Analyst

At the Cosun Innovation Center in Dinteloord, we are looking for an Innovation Process Analyst who will transform complex data into actionable insights that accelerate innovation and create value. In this role, you will bridge strategy and operations by analyzing datasets, improving decision-making, and driving innovation excellence across the organization.

Royal Cosun is a leading agricultural cooperative owned by approximately 8,100 sugar beet growers. This purpose is rooted in 125 years of Cosun history in successfully valorizing arable crops, such as sugar beets, chicory, and potatoes, and co-products into a diverse portfolio of value-added products.

What will you do?

• Collect, analyze, and translate data into actionable recommendations and reports
• Deliver strategic and operational insights to enhance innovation excellence
• Develop transparent, comparable reports on innovation performance across the organization
• Ensure reliable, standardized datasets for organization-wide use
• Identify innovation opportunities and risks in a timely manner
• Promote data literacy and share best practices within business groups
• Act as a bridge between the central Innovation Excellence department and decentralized business units

Your profile

• University degree (WO) or higher professional education (HBO+) in data science, econometrics, information sciences, or business administration with a focus on innovation or data
• 3–5 years of experience in a comparable data analysis role, preferably in innovation or R&D
• Strong knowledge of data analysis, statistics, visualization, and data-driven decision-making
• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL; Python or R is a plus
• Familiarity with innovation processes, KPIs, and data governance
• Strong analytical and communication skills to convey insights clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and advising business groups

Here, you will collaborate with colleagues and business groups to improve innovation processes and accelerate value creation.
