Are you a strategic thinker with operational execution drive and a strong passion for creating customer-centric delivery solutions? We are looking for a Delivery Lead to join the Operations team.

This role is instrumental in shaping seamless customer delivery experience, ensuring competitive differentiation and doing it in a cost-efficient way.

The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional as well as cross-country teams. You will lead the value proposition creation, initiatives that translate customer needs into smart, scalable delivery solutions.

What is your role?

In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of our delivery services to enhance customer experience, strengthen our competitive edge and drive cost-efficiency.

You’ll shape the delivery strategies in collaboration with:

  • Managing Directors defining best delivery value proposition for each market
  • User experience to improve the customer journey
  • Tech and Product development to enhance delivery features
  • and Finance, Pricing and Operations to assess feasibility, and ensure a strong balance between customer value and costs.

Your ability to connect strategic thinking with operational execution is key to driving impact across our delivery landscape. This translates into the following key responsibilities:

  • Define how delivery options can act as a key element in the customer proposition, tailoring services to customer needs.
  • Oversee current delivery processes from a business perspective, identifying areas for improvement by country, service, or customer experience.
  • Lead global carrier contract negotiations and create business cases to stay competitive.
  • Design, develop, test and implement delivery value-added services and new delivery models (like subscription services and value-added features).
  • Optimize quality and cost-efficiency, challenging the operations and transport teams to achieve the best quality at the lowest cost and ensure process traceability while making the right trade-offs.
  • Develop with the pricing team and Managing directors the pricing strategies per service and customer segment, encouraging desired customer behaviours.
  • Use data analytics to monitor delivery performance key metrics (e.g., delivery performance, customer satisfaction) and identify and act on improvement areas.
  • Successfully conduct Quarterly business reviews (focusing on the SLAs and performance) with our carrier, in cooperation with local transport teams

Who are you?

You have at least over 10+ years experience in Supply chain, Delivery, Logistics, distribution or other related field. This gives you a deep understanding of delivery processes, quality factors, and market supply to gain a competitive advantage.

In addition, you will bring the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in customer strategy, proposition management, and business case development.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with commerce, operations, marketing, and tech teams and finance.
  • Excellent negotiation skills for carrier strategies and contracts.
  • Strong data analysis skills to drive insights and process improvements.
  • Deep knowledge of international shipping regulations and logistics providers.
