Over de functie

We are looking for an IT HR & Support Business Partner who can translate HR and finance needs into winning technology solutions across a portfolio of franchise, managed and owned properties in multiple countries. HR digitalisation with Workday is your first priority, closely followed by modernising the wider back-office stack (payroll, finance, ERP, analytics). You keep an eye on market trends, build data-driven business cases and make sure every euro invested delivers measurable value.

You will co-create a shared technology vision with senior HR and Finance stakeholders, ensuring that technology decisions actively support the long-term goals of the business. Through strong stakeholder relationships, you will influence priorities, foster alignment across departments and countries, and ensure that technology initiatives are not only delivered on time and budget, but also truly enable people and processes to thrive.

By building and justifying business cases for technology product delivery, you’ll help shape strategic decisions that drive organizational growth. Your responsibilities will include managing budgets, overseeing capital expenditures (CapEx), and allocating resources to effectively meet diverse business demands. With a focus on collaboration, strategic prioritization, and measurable impact, you will ensure our HR and finance technology ecosystem evolves in line with both market trends and business ambitions. Together with two other Business Partners, you will oversee the complete technology landscape and act as a trusted partner to leadership teams across the organization.

You will ensure that our HR and finance technology landscape not only supports compliance and profitability, but also empowers people and enables sustainable growth across countries and contract models. Working side-by-side with senior business leaders, you will help shape and refine a technology strategy that aligns with our long-term vision—balancing innovation with operational excellence.

You will act as the bridge between business ambitions and technology capabilities, translating complex HR and Finance needs into clear, actionable roadmaps. Your role involves inspiring stakeholders, aligning priorities, and securing commitment for initiatives that deliver measurable value and a strong return on investment. You will also be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Partner with HR, Finance, and other business units to understand priorities, co-create solutions, and manage demand for technology initiatives—ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Build compelling, ROI-driven business cases for new initiatives—workforce management, finance & ERP, and more.
  • Own the tech-investment roadmap, balancing country-specific needs with group‐wide standards and economies of scale.
  • Facilitate alignment between different stakeholder groups, resolving competing priorities and ensuring transparent decision-making.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on the status of technology projects, budget utilization, and resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes within both business and technology teams.

Your work location is our new office on Wibautstraat in Amsterdam. Of course, working from home is possible, but it is desirable that you work from the office at least 3 days a week.

Dit ben jij

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry or a similar multi-site, service-oriented industry, with a strong understanding of business operations and technology needs.
  • Proven track-record delivering HR, payroll or finance ERP across franchise, managed and/or owned models in multiple countries.
  • Strong budget ownership and senior-stakeholder management skills; fluent in the “languages” of HR, Finance and Tech.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale technology projects and overseeing budgets, with a focus on delivering value to the business.
  • Up to date on HR-tech and/or finance-tech market trends. Led innovation initiatives within the organization, identified emerging technologies that could benefit the organization.
  • Experience in leading engagement with outsourcing partners, providing a business perspective to technology outcomes.
  • We highly value experience in product ownership, Agile methodologies, software development, and accelerating value creation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Candidates are required to have a strong command of both the Dutch and English languages.

  • A year's contract with a one-month probationary period in accordance with the Recreation Collective Labour Agreement, where we would of course like to eventually employ you on a permanent basis.
  • A salary between €4.808 and €6.869 gross per month on a full-time basis* excluding holiday allowance.
  • A bonus scheme.
  • 27 days' holiday for a full-time working week with the possibility of buying 10 extra days off.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of working from home.
  • This position includes the option of either a company lease car or a mobility budget as part of the benefits package.
  • Home working allowance of €2.40 per home working day.
  • A travel allowance in accordance with the Landal travel scheme on the basis of €0.23 cents per km. If you decide to travel by public transport, your travel expenses will be reimbursed 100%.
  • Participation in the Recreation pension fund. The standard retirement date in this scheme is 67 years. The premium for this retirement pension is 21.8% of the pension base, with Landal and you each paying half.

* Full-time employment at Landal has a 38-hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5-day working week. If you have part-time employment, your salary and holidays will be prorated.
