Functie omschrijving

As CFO of Euramax, you will form the statutory board of the company together with the CEO and the COO. In this role, you act as a strategic sparring partner in the board and together you determine the course of Euramax. In addition, you focus on safeguarding financial health, professionalizing business processes, and creating a future-proof IT landscape. You play a crucial role in strategic decision-making and work closely with the management team to achieve Euramax ambitious growth objectives. There is a strong emphasis on leveraging data and insights to improve organizational performance and drive innovation. You are not only ultimately responsible for financial matters, but also a driving force behind innovation, digitalization, and sustainability. You know how to foster a culture of continuous improvement and inspire employees to work together towards building a future-proof organization. With your international outlook, entrepreneurial spirit, and connecting leadership style, you contribute to realizing the growth strategy of Euramax.

You will play a key role in further professionalizing the finance function within the current operating entities. Several improvements are still required in Roermond as well. In addition, both completed and future, smaller-scale acquisitions will require significant hands-on involvement to bring the financial processes to the desired level.

As CFO of Euramax, you will lead the Finance, IT, Data & Analytics organization.

Strategy & Development
Responsible for strategic and financial leadership within the organization, including advising the CEO & COO, supporting the management team, leading and professionalizing various departments (Finance, IT, Data & Analytics), developing growth strategies with business cases, providing inspiring leadership to employees, and ensuring clear financial communication.

Culture & Leadership
Responsible for promoting an open, learning, and sustainable organizational culture and driving change by actively involving employees in transitions and creating support for new initiatives.

Financial Management & Control
Ensure solid financial operations through data-driven reporting, risk management, audits, forecasting, and performance optimization to support strategic decision-making and compliance with laws and regulations, including CSRD/ESG.

IT, Data & Innovation
Responsible for the development and implementation of a future-proof and secure IT landscape, optimizing IT processes, leveraging data and technology for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency, and leading data-driven projects and KPI structures.

Digitalization & Data
Responsible for establishing robust data governance policies to ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance, with a focus on applying AI, RPA, and other advanced technologies to optimize processes.

Stakeholder Management
Maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as the Private Equity Investor, banks, auditors, and IT suppliers.

You have excellent communication skills and are strong both strategically and operationally. You also have extensive International experience with change processes and a particular affinity for IT transformations. Thanks to your results-oriented mindset, you are able to operate successfully in a dynamic environment. Who are you?

  • A completed (post-) academic degree (WO) in (Business) Economics or Business Administration
  • At least 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a sector where logistics & production plays an important role
  • At least 5 to 10 years of experience at senior management level in a broad (International) financial role
  • Expertise in ICT/automation/BI tools, process innovation, and data analytics applications
  • Proven experience managing complex IT projects
  • Interest and/or experience in ESG/CSRDExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical abilities and a structured way of working
  • A positively critical attitude and a convincing personality
  • Experience with stakeholder management and a strong team player
  • Able to switch easily at various levels and sensitive to internal relationships

Examples include the Maastoren in Rotterdam, clad in a subtle gradient of 21 shades of grey; the QO Hotel in Amsterdam, featuring 1,638 kinetic gold-silver façade panels that respond to daylight; and the Trivium Retoriikka office building in Finland, finished in colour-shifting prismatic tones. Other architectural highlights include the Isala Hospital in Meppel, where custom “Old Copper” colours were co-developed with architects, and the Thialf Ice Arena in Heerenveen, whose white crystal-like panels reflect the venue’s arctic theme.
