We are looking for a Finance Manager to fully own and operate our Finance function together with our CFO. This means: bookkeeping, building and improving financial processes for the whole company, month-close, annual reporting, audit management, FP&A and tax management, across our Dutch and US operations.

To get this done you work closely with, and are supported by, external accounting and tax partners, and you collaborate with our internal Head of Legal in our Finance & Legal team and People team.

Finance in the age of AI and tech is super exciting. With the right systems and tools, the amount of manual work that has to be done is kept to a minimum, and finance can function as a lean and mean company performance management team. Over the past years we have built up this stack, with tools like Finstack for consolidation, Moss for virtual credit cards and expense management (incl automated booking), Chargebee for subscription management and invoicing and Databricks as our data warehouse.

This doesn’t mean we never do manual work, but it provides the right candidate for this role with enormous leverage to focus on what really matters.

Job requirements

• 2+ years of working experience with relevant experience in finance.
• Solid foundation in (Dutch and international) accounting principles (bonus points for experience in Exact Online)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Clear communication style with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Tech savviness (bonus points if you have experience in Chargebee, Salesforce or with SQL).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both internally as well as with external stakeholders. Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
