This is how you make an impact as a Procurement Manager

You will prepare our supply base to take the next step with us. You will manage a team consisting of tactical and operational buyers. Together with them, you will ensure that the material requirements are met under the right conditions. You will create the procurement policy in consultation with the category managers, provide structure, and optimize processes. Along with your team, you will work on developing suppliers based on the pillars of quality, logistics, technology, and cost. In this role, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, balanced with problem-solving and delivering results
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • A completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in logistics or business administration
  • A strong vision on procurement and logistics processes
  • Leadership experience is a must
  • You are highly organized and process-driven
  • Continuous improvement is important to you
  • Preferably experience in high-tech electronics

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the availability of materials and services at competitive costs from a reliable supply chain
  • Managing and developing the procurement team
  • Ensuring that QLTC teams collaborate effectively and deliver results
  • Actively contributing to the global procurement team
  • Streamlining procurement processes and securing them in supporting systems
  • Contributing to the development of strategic suppliers
  • Formulating and implementing a procurement plan aligned with the corporate procurement strategy
  • Converting set goals into concrete action plans, motivating and inspiring team members
