B Lab Europe

Established in 2013, B Lab Europe has led the rapid growth of the B Corp movement across the continent. Today, there are over 2,100 certified B Corps in the EU and 79,000+ users of the B Impact Assessment. Our work is supported by a network of certified B Corps, country partner representatives, and the B Lab Europe team, which coordinates strategy, processes, and activities across the region.

About the role:

The Finance Coordinator plays a key role within B Lab Europe’s Operations Team, assisting the Head of Finance and the broader European Network. This role focuses on accounting tasks, including processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth financial administration. Additionally, the Finance Coordinator assists with financial inquiries, reporting, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

The Operations Team oversees finance, people & culture, administration & IT, legal, and data reporting & analysis, ensuring B Lab Europe’s impact as we expand the B Corp Movement across the region. This role is an opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven organization working to transform the global economy.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Financial Administration & Invoicing (40%)

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial administration.
  • Monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Process sales invoices efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments (Accounts Receivable).

Support and Collaboration (40%)

  • Assist B Corps with various financial inquiries in the invoice inbox.
  • Support our Country Partners with reports, data needs, and ad-hoc financial questions.

Financial Projects & Reporting (20%)

  • Assist the finance team with various financial projects and process improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of our annual report.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

  • A financial background, either through education or previous work experience, is a plus.
  • Highly organized with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience in administrative or coordination roles, preferably involving financial processes.
  • Comfortable handling financial data, documents, and digital systems; experience with financial administrative software such as Exact Online is a plus.
  • Able to identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows/automation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to help teams with process-related questions.
  • Clear and professional communication in English, both written and spoken.
  • Able to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and external partners.

What we offer:

  • The salary for this role is €38,000 per year (including holiday allowance), adjusted based on the location of work and applicable benefits.
  • A four-day workweek (full-time at 32 hours), promoting work-life balance and well-being.
