Finance Team Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator supports team operations by providing coordination in daily tasks, supporting transitions of the processes as well as the new joiners' onboarding process, and assisting with team management tasks. The role involves significant collaboration with Team Leaders to ensure smooth team functioning and high performance.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Manage everyday workload and ensure smooth operational flow within the team.
  • Delegate tasks to team members, empowering them and promoting a culture of shared responsibility within the team.
  • Offer daily process knowledge support for the team, ensuring team members are well-informed and capable in their roles.
  • Participate in onboarding training and set up learning paths for new joiners, assisting them during their initial months as well as contribute to preparing training plans within the team to build a backup structure.
  • Assist the Team Leader with timesheets, KPI management, training matrix, over hours monitoring (approval remains TL's responsibility), backup structure in the team and communication support.
  • Perform as a backup for the Team Leader during her/his absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and team operations. Participate in business meetings when appointed by the Team Leader.
  • Coordinate team members' participation in projects and assist the Team Leader in delegating team members to project working groups.
  • Prepare monthly team metrics, including SLA and quality checks, to monitor performance and ensure standards are met.
  • Perform all activities in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs, ensuring that all relevant company standards and guidelines are met.
  • Ensure all relevant company standards and guidelines are met in process execution.
  • Perform any additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Team Leader, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of the organization.

About you

  • Work experience in Finance with understanding of GL processes.
  • University Degree in accounting or relevant courses.
  • Fluent English, German language would be an asset.
  • Expertise in managing and coordinating daily tasks.
  • Process improvement experience in an asset.
  • Proficiency with relevant software, systems and tools (Excel, SAP, ServiceNow etc.).
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Very good self-organization and target orientation skills.
  • Customer and teamwork focus and capability.
