As the Head of Onboarding at bunq, you'll make a difference by improving conversions in the onboarding funnel, maximizing the amount of users we onboard by achieving our 5-minute onboarding for users. You will hold a pivotal role in defining our customer's onboarding journey, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition, while keeping the banking system safe. You have the power to set the tone of the initial interaction and positively impact user experience for Eva. πŸš€

Take ownership

As a Head of Onboarding your main ownerships will include:

  • Manage and lead cross-functional teams of up to 40 professionals across operations, product and KYC process.
  • Design and continuously optimise our onboarding flow for private individuals and companies.
  • Turn data into actionable insights that boost engagement during onboarding.
  • Spearhead international expansion into new markets - within and outside EEA.
  • Persuade and influence key stakeholders to endorse and implement user-focused & data-driven solutions.
  • Continually reduce manual verification waiting times to ensure quicker user onboarding.
  • Work diligently to meet the 5-minute promise for user onboarding.
  • Constantly enhance strategies that will ultimately increase the verification rate.

  • Possess deep expertise in KYC processes and innovative strategies to elevate the onboarding experience.
  • Have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams of 20 or more professionals.
  • Excel in planning, organizing, and influencing stakeholders through persuasive and strategic communication.
  • Rely on data-driven insights to shape decisions that drive measurable improvements.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to design and continually optimize onboarding flows that enhance user experience.
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence, ensuring seamless and effective conversations at all levels.
  • Have hands-on experience in boosting conversion rates throughout onboarding funnels.
  • Are skilled in streamlining processes to significantly reduce manual tasks and customer waiting times.
  • Bring a robust understanding of methods to improve successful user onboarding, ensuring a secure and efficient onboarding journey.
