About this role:

As a Courier Coordinator, you will be at the heart of a dynamic team of delivery couriers. Your leadership will transform our couriers into a motivated and cohesive team, ensuring they deliver high-quality service to our business partners and customers. You’ll support our couriers by making sure they’re road-ready with the right gear, creating a welcoming and organized environment for remote couriers, and handling real-time issues.

Your role will include optimizing staffing and efficiency while fostering a culture of high performance and safety. This hands-on position is all about setting up our couriers for success, driving teamwork, and connecting with others. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting, excel at coordination, and are eager to make a positive impact, this could be the perfect fit for you!

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Manage couriers as the first point of contact, addressing questions and resolving issues to keep daily operations on track;
• Ensuring couriers are aware of rules and procedures and capable of performing their tasks;
• Coaching and supporting couriers where needed to ensure high performance and engagement;
• Investigating operational and safety incidents and ensure continuous improvement;
• Empower our couriers by making sure they have the right equipment and information to succeed;
• Adapt to evolving business needs by supporting new processes and improvement initiatives.

What will you bring to the table?

• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and support our diverse courier team, effectively guiding individuals from various cultural backgrounds and conducting regular performance evaluations.
• A calm and practical approach to decision-making, even when things get busy;
• A natural collaborator who enjoys working with others to solve problems;
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings and weekends;
• Ability to understand and communicate in English is required;
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
