What You’ll Do:

As our Sustainability Communications Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and sharing Corbion's sustainability story. Your efforts will drive awareness, engagement, and communicate our commitment to sustainability both internally and externally. You will be a key player in our communications strategy, working alongside our Corporate and Marketing Communication teams.

• Developing and implementing a long-term, integrated sustainability communications strategy that reflects Corbion's sustainability initiatives.
• Translating complex, technical sustainability topics into compelling and accessible narratives.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to adapt and deliver consistent sustainability messaging across multiple channels.
• Leading the development of sustainability content for Corbion’s annual report, ensuring compliance with CSRD and other relevant standards.
• Staying ahead of new reporting frameworks and regulations to ensure adherence.
• Managing sustainability communication materials to ensure they are up-to-date and impactful.
• Guiding senior executives in communicating sustainability messages effectively.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about sustainability and communication, with the ability to inspire others through clear, actionable messaging. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Sustainable Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sustainability communication and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting, proofreading, interviewing, and project management.
• Experience with CSRD, Life Cycle Assessment, GHG Protocol, and an eagerness to deepen knowledge about product footprints.
• A background in the food, ingredients, or chemical industries is a plus.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, proactive attitude and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• An innovative attitude towards communication, embracing efficiency-enhancing tools such as AI.
