About the role
BYD EUROPE BV is currently looking for a Product Development Manager for the BYD Electric Forklift Division in Europe. The Product Development Manager will be responsible for mainly new product development in the material handling sector including but not limited to class 2 and class 3 warehouse equipment and counterbalance forklifts powered by BYD Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. He/she will be based in Schiedam, the Netherlands and will report to both Business Unit Forklift Director of BYD Europe BV and R&D Director of BYD Forklift Division in HQ China.

Electric buses manufactured by those two factories will be exported to customers across continental Europe. It is also in partnership with Alexander Dennis in the UK which assembles jointly developed buses for the UK market.
Up to now, the footprint of BYD electric vehicles covers over 70 major European cities, which will undoubtedly grow in the future.
