Business Development Manager at FrieslandCampina

Do you have what it takes to drive growth in the international Infant Formula industry?

Responsible for leading the global sales strategy and commercial execution for FrieslandCampina’s Private Label Infant Formula business, the New Business Development manager is accountable for the development of long-term B2B partnerships across multiple international markets, client portfolio growth and profitability. You will:

  • Co-develop and execute the global commercial strategy for private label infant formula
  • Ensure alignment with corporate growth objectives and margin targets
  • Identify and secure new market opportunities across Europe, MENA, and LatAm
  • Lead the commercial team, driving performance, coaching talent, and securing a results-driven culture
  • Work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure operational execution, innovation delivery, and compliance in each market

What we ask

  • The ideal candidate is a commercially driven leader with experience in B2B sales within the FMCG or Nutrition sector—ideally infant or specialized nutrition, with a proven track record in managing international accounts, leading complex negotiations, and delivering P&L results.
  • This person combines strategic vision with operational discipline, and knows how to scale a commercial portfolio while maintaining margin integrity and navigating regulatory constraints.
  • Skilled at unlocking new markets, negotiating long-term supply agreements, and building high-trust relationships with multinational retailers and brand owners.
  • Minimum HBO education level. Fluency in English is essential; Good command of Spanish is a plus.
  • 7+ years of commercial working experience.

Vacancy description

As New Business Development for Private Label Infant Formula, you will be responsible for driving the global commercial strategy and delivering sustainable, profitable growth across key international B2B markets. On a daily basis, you will lead commercial negotiations, manage strategic customer relationships, and oversee the execution of long-term private label partnerships with multinational retailers, distributors, and brand owners.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality & Regulatory, and Marketing to secure product readiness, compliance, and service excellence. You’ll lead a small commercial team and report into the Managing Director SN Rest of the World. You will be directly accountable for the P&L performance of the Private Label Infant Formula business, including volume, pricing and margins.
