Position

Gilde Healthcare is looking for a Recruitment and Talent Manager to shape the employee experience and drive our recruitment strategy.

Gilde Healthcare is a specialized healthcare investor managing over €2.6 billion across two fund strategies: Venture & Growth and Private Equity. We operate in therapeutics, medtech, and digital health in Europe and North America. We have offices in Utrecht (NL), Frankfurt (DE), and Boston (US), characterized by integrity, professionalism, trust, and transparency.

We have doubled our organization in recent years and aim to grow further. We are looking for a part-time Recruitment and Talent Manager to support us in preserving our positive culture and attracting and retaining top talent across all locations.

Position Overview

As Recruitment and Talent Manager, you will attract new talent and retain our positive culture. We have ambitious growth plans, requiring us to hire more investment professionals and support staff. We prioritize a smooth, efficient, and effective recruitment process while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Our workforce consists of smart, ambitious individuals with diverse backgrounds. The Recruitment and Talent Manager will play a pivotal role in retaining talented employees and reinforcing our positive culture.

We seek an HR professional with 5+ years of experience, to support us approximately 24 hours per week at our headquarters in Utrecht. Flexible working hours accommodate other commitments.

You will report to our CFO and collaborate with our Private Equity, Venture & Growth, and Support Staff teams, and recruitment agencies.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Management (approx. 12 hours/week):
  • Employer Branding: Market Gilde Healthcare as an attractive employer.
  • Recruitment Activities: Oversee all recruitment processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage Fellowship/Intern Programs: Provide opportunities for experience in venture capital/private equity.
  • Ensure Quality of Hires: Maintain high standards for new hires.
  • Agency Management: Liaise with recruitment agencies to ensure hiring goals alignment.
  • Screening and Interviews: Conduct candidate screenings and participate in interviews.
  • Collect and use data and technologies to support tasks.
People and Culture (approx. 8 hours/week):
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I): Promote DE&I principles in policies.
  • Employee Experience and Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee experience.
  • Performance Management: Guide managers through the performance management process.
  • Learning & Development: Design and deliver training programs and implement Individual Development Plans.
HR Process and Policy Improvement and Execution (approx. 4 hours/week):
  • HR Processes: Develop HR processes, onboarding, offboarding, and employment conditions.
  • Employment Terms and Conditions: Yearly benchmarking of employment terms.
  • Travel Policies: Execution and development, including lease cars.
  • HR Communication: Communicate about HR and employee-related news and events.
  • Perform other tasks related to Talent, People, Culture, HR administration, and HR processes.

Experience and Education

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles and/or recruitment.
  • Understanding of the full HR cycle, HR metrics, and recruitment processes.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, regulations, and Dutch laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
