Over de baan

Within the Digital Product & Experience team, we focus on continuously improving the digital experience for our guests. We ensure that our websites, apps, and other digital channels are user-friendly, accessible, and engaging from the initial orientation all the way through to the stay at the park.

As a Product Designer Stay, you play a key role in this digital transformation. You combine creativity with analytical insight and contribute to elevating our digital products to the next level. In doing so, you work closely with colleagues in design, development, and product management to deliver a consistent and guest-centric digital experience.

Wat je gaat doen

In your role as Product Designer Stay, you identify opportunities and come up with creative solutions that contribute to the effectivity of the Stay journey team and ultimately, the experience of our guests. You independently organize and conduct user research, ranging from interviews and observations to usability testing, both qualitative and quantitative. You use these insights throughout your design process, ultimately creating intuitive designs that contribute to the design system and a user-friendly guest experience. You are responsible for:

  • Work in an Agile, multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and designers, and clearly presenting solutions to stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end UX outputs, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs; aligned with UX best practices, accessibility standards, and the design system.
  • Conduct and support qualitative and quantitative user research, translating guest feedback and data into continuous improvements of the customer journey.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of designs across all digital platforms (Web, Email, App) while contributing to the evolution of the UX design system.
  • Stay up to date with industry and UX developments, applying new insights to enhance digital products and the overall guest experience.

In this role, you report to the Director DP&E and work from our office in Amsterdam. We operate in a hybrid setup: partly from the office, partly from home, and the occasional park visit. Your primary workplace is our Amsterdam office, and for a full-time role, we expect you to be in the office at least three days per week.

Wie je bent

You are a creative and analytical designer with a sharp eye for detail and strong empathy for the user. You know how to translate complex information into clear and intuitive digital experiences. Furthermore you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree level and 4–6 years of relevant experience as a Product Designer.
  • Strong research mindset with experience in user research and data-driven design.
  • Experience in e-commerce, with an understanding of how design contributes to conversion optimization.
  • Skilled in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and experienced in working with and contributing to design systems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
