Accessories Designer

Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by designing innovative global accessories collections for Tennis and Running, transforming seasonal creative direction into compelling products that strengthen ASICS' brand identity. You'll work collaboratively across international teams to bring your designs from initial concept through to commercialisation, ensuring each accessory meets the highest quality standards whilst staying true to our established design DNA.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Design innovative accessories collections for Tennis and Running categories, aligned with ASICS' established design DNA and brand identity.
• Interpret seasonal creative direction into comprehensive accessories ranges, working from initial concept through to final commercialisation.
• Conduct research and contribute to the development of seasonal trends, colour palettes, and inspirational mood boards for accessories collections.
• Participate in fit sessions and quality control processes to ensure all accessories meet the highest standards of performance and craftsmanship.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including design, business units, materials specialists, and category management to deliver cohesive collections.
• Manage product development costs and maintain budget alignment throughout the design and production process.
• Prepare and deliver impactful presentations that clearly articulate seasonal design narratives and creative concepts to stakeholders and partners.

You have the following skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of fabric, materials, and textile technologies.
• Understanding of 3D accessory construction, patterning, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience designing accessories, preferably in the sports or activewear sector.
