Internship: Specialized Nutrition Infant Formula (Compliance Team)

In our department Specialized Nutrition, the compliance Team is responsible to maintain the compliance of all recipes in the global portfolio for infant formula. Driven by statistics, and predictive maintenance, we optimize our products.

During this internship, you are responsible to study if part of our predictive maintenance systems can be brought to the next level and/or take up case studies to improve compliance of our recipes.

To be successful in this position, you have/ are:

• Currently at your final year of relevant MSc/BSc study, e.g., Food Technology, with good foundation of food technology and food ingredients, and basic knowledge of dairy technology and processes;
• Skillful communicator within R&D and towards colleagues, in English language, both oral and written;
• Independent in project planning and organizational skills;
• Pragmatic, proactive, hands-on mentality, flexible and creative;
• Ambition to pursue a future career in product development.

In our department Specialized Nutrition, the compliance Team is responsible to maintain the compliance of all recipes in the global portfolio for infant formula. Driven by statistics, and predictive maintenance, we optimize our products. During this internship, you are responsible to study if part of our predictive maintenance systems can be brought to the next level and/or take up case studies to improve compliance of our recipes. Together with the supervisor, you will formulate your exact research question and we'll guide you to the experts and systems to carry out your research.

Also, you'll become part of the R&D department, and the intern pool. Finally, you'll get the opportunity to work in the lab on a regular bases to support and learn from other ongoing projects.
