Stagiair(e) Health & Safety

As a Health & Safety Intern within the Facility / Health & Safety team, you will contribute to one of the most important aspects of vidaXL: ensuring that our warehouses and our office are safe and pleasant workplaces for everyone.

This is what you will do:

• Supporting safety rounds and identifying risks (such as escape routes, fire safety and emergency response facilities);
• Contribute to increasing safety awareness through flyers, task cards and conversations with colleagues;
• Helping to keep H&S documentation, RI&E and procedures up-to-date;
• Assisting in managing and controlling safety resources and equipment (knives, walkie-talkies, PPE, hazardous materials);
• Contributing to improvement projects around safety and security.

This is what we ask of you:

• You are following an MBO or HBO course in Logistics, Facility or similar;
• Affinity with safety and a proactive, hands-on attitude;
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English with colleagues at all levels;
• Analytical view and a keen eye for detail and risks;
• Eager to learn and want to contribute to both daily tasks and improvement projects.
