With Supply Chain you are at the core of our operations. Simplicity and innovation come together to shape the future of our brand through smart solutions.

S&OP Senior Commercial Planner

We are looking for a Sr. Commercial Planner to join the Sales & Operations planning (S&OP) team. In this role, you are responsible for running, managing, improving, and influencing the S&OP process for our Innovations and Promotions to ensure the best possible demand forecast for timely and optimal availability of Rituals products in all lines of businesses and countries.

As S&OP Senior Commercial Planner, you’ll own the end-to-end planning of commercial demand and act as a key driver in improving how we forecast, plan and execute across the business. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong commercial planning instincts with a tech-savvy mindset—able to translate business needs into new demand planning process designs and embed them into new ERP / planning tooling.

You will work at the intersection of Supply Chain, Innovation, Marketing and Business teams to improve forecast quality, increase planning agility, and ensure forecasts are planned and executed with the right level of detail and governance.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Commercial Planning - S&OP

  • Own the commercial demand plan (volume, cannibalization/substitution assumptions) for agreed markets/categories.
  • Lead the commercial planning cadence as part of the S&OP cycle, ensuring assumptions are aligned cross-functionally.
  • Serve as Strategic Business Partner towards the business teams: influence business leaders and challenge business decisions with strategic analyses.
  • Drive the monthly validation meeting with supply chain stakeholders, including preparation, data validation, S&OP reporting, documenting & follow up of action items.
  • Track forecast accuracy, extract learnings, and continuously improve future plans.

Process design & tooling (new ERP / planning tools)

  • Drive new demand planning process designs: ways of working, data flows, and decision points.
  • Act as a super user / product owner proxy for commercial planning in the new tooling: requirements, user stories, testing, and adoption.
  • Partner with Business Technology and key stakeholders to shape master data, hierarchies, and planning parameters needed for high-quality forecasting.
  • Develop smart, scalable reporting and performance dashboards (e.g., forecast accuracy, bias, performance).

This leads to an exciting balance between analytical skills, stakeholder management based on strong relations and adding your creativity into the forecast. You will report to the Sr S&OP Manager and are part of the S&OP team within the Supply Chain department.

Bring all of you

Experience & skills

  • Around 5 - 8 years in Demand Planning / S&OP / Promotion Planning / Commercial Planning, preferably in retail/FMCG/consumer goods.
  • Proven experience designing or improving demand planning processes (promotion or innovation forecasting is a plus).
  • Strong analytical capability: able to translate data into insights and actions.
  • Confident in a complex stakeholder environment; able to influence without formal authority.

Tech-savvy mindset

  • Comfortable working with ERP/planning tool implementations and/or upgrades (e.g., Relex, SAP, Oracle, o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Anaplan—tool doesn’t matter as much as the mindset).
  • Hands-on with AI, data and reporting (advanced Excel required; Power BI/SQL/Python are a plus).
  • Experience with UAT, data validation, and translating business needs into functional requirements.

Ways of working

  • Proactive, structured, and improvement-driven.
  • Curious and pragmatic.
  • Able to operate both strategically (process design) and operationally (running the plan).

Benefits of working at Rituals

  • Unique opportunities for personal and professional growth
  • Staff discount on Rituals products
  • Attractive bonus
  • Flexible working hours tailored to your personal rhythm
  • Company & team events
